Kay Burley @ Breakfast
Sky News announced on 23 September 2019 that they were introducing a new breakfast show to their schedule to replace Sunrise, called Kay Burley @ Breakfast.[3][1]
The show runs from 7-9am live from Sky News's Westminster studios at Four Millbank, and unlike Sunrise, is to be hosted solely by Burley, with no separate news or sports anchors.[2] The show first aired on Monday, 14 October 2019, with Burley presenting from Abingdon Green in Westminster, with the weather being presented from Studio 21 at Osterley by Kirsty McCabe.
The show has a political, hard-news agenda, and has a large input on social media.
Sky News @ Breakfast
Alongside the announcement of Kay Burley @ Breakfast, Sky News also announced "a slightly more relaxed style to kick off the weekend" in the form of Sky News @ Breakfast with Stephen Dixon and Gillian Joseph.[3]
The show runs from 7-9am (Friday), 6-10am (Saturday) and 6-8.30am (Sunday) live from Sky Studios in Osterley, and aired for the first time on Friday, 18 October 2019.
The show has a hard-news agenda, much like Kay Burley @ Breakfast, however is slightly more relaxed, containing human interest stories.[4]
