Zenon Labauve Jr.

Zenon Labauve Jr. (February 16, 1801 - September 25, 1870) was a Justice of the Louisiana Supreme Court from April 3, 1865 to November 1, 1868.[1][2]

Born in West Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, he was a member of the Louisiana State Senate from 1834 to 1836, from 1842 to 1843, and in 1851. He was a member of the state's Constitutional Convention of 1845. He was a Justice of the Louisiana Supreme Court from 1865 to 1868.[3] He was the "[f]irst member of 'ancienne populacion'" to serve on the Louisiana Supreme Court.[1]

He died in Iberville parish.[3]
