You Know You Want This: "Cat Person" and Other Stories is a collection of short stories by Kristen Roupenian.

Following the viral success of the short story Cat Person, Roupenian secured a seven figure deal with Scout Press for her debut book, and was the subject of a bidding war in the American market, with offers exceeding $1m.[2] She received a $1.2 million advance for the book.[3]

Reception

The review aggregator website Book Marks reported that 16% of critics gave the book a "rave" review, whilst 38% and 30% of the critics expressed "positive" or "mixed" impressions, respectively. Another 16% of the critics "panned" the book, based on a sample of 37 reviews.[1]
