William Warrick Cardozo

William Warrick Cardozo (1905–1962) was an American scientist who pioneered research on individuals suffering from sickle cell anemia.[1] He initially attended Hampton University and later Ohio State University.[2] He was a medical doctor who worked primarily in Washington DC.[3] He additionally worked on the development of African-American children as well as Hodgkin's disease.[1] He died of a heart attack.[2]
