William Ermested
William Ermested BD DCanL (d. 1558) was a Canon of Windsor from 1554 - 1558[1] and Master of the Temple.
Career
He was appointed:
- Rector of Friering, Essex 1533
- Rector of Kislingbury, Northamptonshire
- Prebendary of Neasden in St Paul's 1539 - 1559
- President of the Chapter
- Master of the Temple[2]
He was appointed to the twelfth stall in St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle in 1554, and held the stall until 1558.
