Vishwajeet Kadam

Vishwajeet Kadam (born 13 January 1980) is a politician from the Indian state of Maharashtra. Son of late congress leader Patangrao Kadam, Vishwajeet was born and brought up in Pune. He is currently an MLA from Palus-Kadegaon (Vidhan Sabha constituency)

Dr. Vishwajeet Kadam has a B.E, MBA, Phd in Management and has also completed Management and Leadership in Education from Harvard University.

Some know him as the Working President of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee. Others know him as a Member of the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) And many more know him as the Secretary of Bharati Vidyapeeth. Different roles, different organisations, different responsibilities, but always one vision - "to help improve the lives of the people around him" In his attempt to bring this vision to life he has achieved many milestones in various sectors including education, sports, politics and social service.

He was famous for the Samvad Padyatra (where he walked over 500+km for farmers in need), 'Mulgi Havi ho' (a female infanticide campaign), and many other social-programs apart from the Rs.60 Million that he has donated for student scholarships or free medical camps.

His secular ideology, passion for development, noteworthy social work and qualifications earned him a ticket as the Congress candidate for 2019 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election & He won election by huge margin of 1,62,521 votes from Palus-Kadegaon (Vidhan Sabha constituency)
