Vikas Thakur
Vikas Thakur (born 12 Nov 1993) is an Indian professional weightlifter. He has won two Commonwealth Games medals, silver at Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014 and bronze at The Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in 2018.

He is a Junior Warrant Officer in The Indian Airforce. Posted in Chandigarh, he now trains at Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports . He says that 2011 was the year when he was offered this prestigious job and it was the "turning point of his life".
