VA Jagadeesh

Vasudevan Arundhadi Jagadeesh, or VA Jagadeesh, also Jagadeesh, is a Kerala cricketer born in Kottarakkara of Kollam district. He is popularly known as 'Jaggu'. In 2013, he had stabilized the innings on the third afternoon after the early losses, helped the home team progress past 200. He shared a stand of 197 for the third wicket with Manpreet Juneja before Doug Bracewell dismissed Jagadeesh nine short of what could have been his seventh first-class century. Jagadeesh batted serenely waiting for the loose balls to go after but he saw the three bigger batsmen all fall to aggressive shots off spin playing for India A against West Indies A at Shimoga.
