Unima
Unima is the largest company in Madagascar and a leading player in the international seafood business.[1][2]

It was founded by Aziz Islami, a French citizen born in Madagascar, who entered the country's shrimp industry in 1973. The business is now run by his son Amyne Hassam Ismail (born 1965).[3]
In 2016, the company's aquaculture farm Aqualma in Mahajamba, was the first in Africa to be awarded Aquaculture Stewardship Certification.[4][5]
