Introduction

Early companion converts heard rumours of the Islamic prophet Muhammad's open discussions with the tribal leaders, critiquing their society, requesting a collective reorientation of society based on a new tawheedi worldview. They would then question Muhammad and be told of his role and the revelation he had received.[1] Also, except for the Sahabah that merited extraordinary accomplishments, Sunni rank all Sahabah according to their time.
