1972

• 7 August 1972 – David Wynne (21) and Errol Gordon (22), both members of the British Army, were killed in a Provisional Irish Republican Army land mine attack on their mobile patrol, near Lisnaskea.

1974

• 11 April 1974 – Norman McKenzie (25), a member of the British Army, was killed in a Provisional Irish Republican Army land mine attack, on his mobile patrol, near Lisnaskea.

1976

• 18 July 1976 – Gordon Liddle (28), a Protestant civilian, killed by a Provisional Irish Republican Army booby trap bomb, in laneway of his home, Drumgole, Lisnaskea.

1977

• 13 March 1977 – William Brown (18), a member of the Royal Ulster Constabulary, was shot by a Provisional Irish Republican Army sniper, while on Royal Ulster Constabulary mobile patrol, near Lisnaskea.

1979

• 6 May 1979 – Norman Prue (29), a Protestant member of the Royal Ulster Constabulary and Robert Maughan (30), a member of the British Army, both on undercover patrol, were killed by the Provisional Irish Republican Army while sitting in a stationary unmarked car, outside a church in Lisnaskea.

1981

• 5 June 1981 – Ronald Graham (39), an off duty member of the Ulster Defence Regiment, was shot while delivering coal.
• 11 November 1981 – Cecil Graham (32), an off duty member of the Ulster Defence Regiment, died two days after being shot while leaving a relative's home.
