History

The music project Modern System was created in tribute of Modern Talking and Blue System, with the main idea of make new versions of their old hits. They invited to the original choir of these projects, Rolf Köhler, Michael Scholz and Detlef Wiedeke, for the falsettos, and they recorded some of the most famous Modern Talking and Blue System songs, like Brother Louie, You're My Heart, You're My Soul, Cheri, Cheri Lady, My Bed is Too Big, Ready for the Victory, and others.

Ulrich Eichblatt is the vocal leader of Talking System, the name had to be changed temporarily to Talking System in response to legal threats from another band with the same name, but then they won the trial. Shortly before they released their debut album, (In My) Backstreet Heaven.[1][2]

Despite negative feedback from their first album, the band announced the release of a new album, and they released several singles. In addition to Blue System and Modern Talking covers, they also released several original songs, but just two have been published: (In My) Backstreet Heaven and Rock Your Moviestar.[2]

Almighty Records remixed their song (In My) Backstreet Heaven.
