SuperRewards

SuperRewards is an alternative payment system for online games and virtual worlds. The company was most recently acquired by Playerize, Inc and is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and San Francisco, California.[1] Users can purchase a particular virtual currency by paying for it directly using a credit card, or alternatively they can complete various types of offers which reward them with the desired currency. These offers are submitted to the SuperRewards offerwall by advertisers and typically involved surveys, quizzes, content downloads, videos, and subscriptions.

History

SuperRewards was founded by Jason Bailey and established in the summer of 2007 shortly after the Facebook platform launched.[2] It was an in-house tool at first and was officially launched to developers in December 2007. Shortly after launch they became the largest CPA network on Facebook and Myspace.[2] The company bootstrapped at first and was eventually acquired by Adknowledge. SuperRewards finally shut down on 1 December 2019.[2]

gollark: Besides that, I am pretty sure that is not how it works.
