Spot-throated flameback

The spot-throated flameback (Dinopium everetti) is a species of bird in the family Picidae. It is found on the island of Palawan in the Philippines. It is sometimes considered a subspecies of the common flameback.

Description and ecology

Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, and subtropical or tropical mangrove forests.
