Solano (wind)

The Solano is an easterly to south-easterly wind in the south of Spain. In spring and summer, from June to September, it carries very hot and dry air from african coast over La Mancha and the Andalusian plain, with the cities of Sevilla and Cádiz. It's a regional wind and a slight variation of the mediterranean Sirocco, by considering the relative position between southern Spain and the north african coast, as compared to other Countries in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea.
