Soetjipto Danoekoesoemo
Police-General (Ret.) (born in Tulungagung, East Java, Dutch East Indies on 28 February 1922 - died in Jakarta, 1998) was the third Chief of National Police of Indonesia from 30 December 1963 to 8 May 1965. Died in Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital on 1998 and buried in TMP Kalibata.

His childhood was spent on the bench HIS, MULO and MA-C. He then obtained education in Kotoka I (Police High School Section) Sukabumi (1943). After graduating, Danoekoesoemo began to become the Surabaya Special Police Battalion Commission (1945).
Soetjipto returned to his "Hersholing Mobrig" education in Sukabumi (1950). After that, he was appointed Deputy Coordinator and Inspector of the East Java Police Mobile Brigade (1951), and Deputy Coordinator and Inspector of Mobrig Central Java Police (1954). He was then sent to Italy to deepen to deepen police science. At the end of 1960, he was placed as Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police at the Headquarters of the Mobrig Central Police Commander.
In 1961, Soetjipto undertook military-police education at the "Advance Army School", Fort Benning, United States, followed by education at the "Army Command & General Staff College", Fort Leavenworth, and civil defence courses in New York. Upon his return to Indonesia, he was promoted to the position of Commander of the Mobrig Police Central (1962). Two years later, Soetjipto was appointed as Head of the National Police (1964) replacing Police-General Soekarno Djojonagoro.
Several events during his time as Chief of the National Police:
- 19 March 1965 - The Police Force Staff and Command School (Seskoak) in Lembang, Bandung, is established.
- 15 March 1965 - The enactment of the Criminal Code of the Army, HAP of the Army and KUDT for members of the Polri
He was replaced R. Soetjipto Joedodihardjo on 9 May 1965. After that, he became Indonesian Ambassador to Bulgaria (1966-1969) and later became a member of DPRGR and MPRS (1970), and Member of the DPR - MPR for four years (1971- 1974).
