Simenona Martinez

Simenona (Simenona Martinez) is an American actress, singer-songwriter, visual artist and film director from Los Angeles, California. She was born on July 10, 1990, and is of Native American, Irish, Italian, Serbian, Israeli and Black background. She is Jewish..[1] Simenona excelled in the arts at an early age, and worked with the San Francisco Mime Trope as a teenager.[2] She made her television debut on the WB20 Warner Brothers station in San Francisco, California. She is most well known for her work on the Disney Channel's Playhouse Disney show Behind the Ears[3] and for her role in the 2012 action crime film Alex Cross alongside Tyler Perry.[4] Simenona released her debut EP, Awakening in 2012, for which she wrote and co-produced every track.[5] Her second EP, "Can't Stop" was released in 2013.[6]

Simenona is also known for her work in the visual arts, and published her first collection of art in 2018, The Anonemis. Since then, she has published seven total books in The Anonemis series. The collection includes a variety of original art pieces, including many different styles and mediums. In 2020, she released two books highlighting works of art which feature faces, entitled About Face, and About Face Vol. 2.[7]
