Overview

The Shukureere descend from a common ancestor called Shikey Aw Walaal. This group believe their forefather was picked up very young near a well by the Biimaal, for fear he pretended to be dumb. As an adult, Shiikey married a woman of the Raxanweyne clan from whom he had four children:[1]
