Senior Whip of the National Party

The New Zealand National Party's Senior Whip administers the “whipping in” system that tries to ensure that party MPs attend and vote according to the party leadership's wishes.

Barbara Kuriger (MP for Taranaki-King Country), is the party's senior whip, appointed 20 March 2018.[1] Matt Doocey serves as Junior Whip and Tim van de Molen (MP for Waikato) serves as Third Whip.[2]
