Reception
The New York Times called it "Complex, candid and all-but-essential viewing for hearing audiences".[2]
Variety said it is "An outstanding documentary exploration of the travails of four deaf entertainers, Hilari Scarls' `See What I'm Saying' provides a glimpse into a performance circuit that few hearing-enabled Americans likely realize exists."[3]
The film won awards at five film festivals and was an “Official Selection” at seven others.[1]
