Sceptre (Russian: Скипетр) were a Russian heavy metal band that was formed in 2006 in Saratov.

History
Since 2006 the band performed gigs in several cities of European part of Russia. Sceptre supported such famous Russian bands as Master, Black Obelisk and others.
At the moment the band has released 2 albums and 2 singles on the Russian record label "Metalism Records". In 2011 the song "The Curse of Merlin" was included into "Now! That’s What I Call Metal 37" compilation, among songs of Lamb of God, Serenity, Amon Amarth, Moonsorrow, Korpiklaani, Power Quest and others.
