Sarah Travers

Sarah Travers (born 3 April 1974[1] in Belfast, Northern Ireland) is a Northern Irish journalist.

Broadcasting career

Travers began her broadcasting career while studying at Nottingham Trent University, working at BBC Radio Nottingham and Central News.[2]

She joined BBC Radio Foyle in 1995[3] as a freelance reporter and news bulletin presenter[4] and moved to the BBC newsroom in Belfast in 1997.[3]

In 2013, she ended her career as a reporter and presenter on BBC Newsline.[5]

Personal life

Travers attended Dominican College, Portstewart, and studied broadcast journalism at Nottingham Trent University.[2]

She lives in Portstewart with her husband, journalist and writer Stephen Price, and two children.[4]
