Sanjay Dwivedi

Professor Sanjay Dwivedi is a senior journalist & current Director-General of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication.[1] After spending around 14 years in the field of journalism, he held several positions including HOD, Mass Communications, Registrar & Vice-Chancellor at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication .[2]

Career

Being a well-known journalist, editor, writer, cultural activist and media guru, Sanjay Dwivedi has held senior positions at the top media organizations including Dainik Bhaskar, Haribhumi, Navbharat, Swadesh, Info India Dotcom and Chhattisgarh's first satellite channel Zee 24.

Presently Professor Sanjay Dwivedi is also the Vice-Chancellor of Asia's first Journalism University Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication , Bhopal. Prior to this, Professor Sanjay Dwivedi was the registrar of the Makhanlal Chaturvedi University. At the same time, Professor Sanjay Dwivedi has been the HOD of the Department of Mass Communication at this university.[3]
