Sameera Rathode (Aditi Rao Hydari) is a well known actress. Vijay does not like movies because he thinks everything in movies is fake. One day, a film producer asks Sarvesh to rent his house for a movie shooting in which Sameera is the main lead. Sarvesh had previously met several movie producers to show his portfolio of various of roles, hoping that he would fulfill his childhood dream of becoming an actor. Sameera, who cannot speak Telugu, asks Vijay to coach her with the language. In this process, Vijay realizes that some actors are different and eventually falls in love with Sameera but gets turned down by her. Sameera's movie releases, and Vijay is still angry at Sameera for being rejected. During an interview about the movie, Vijay realises that the dialogues are words that he had told Sameera and were his personal thoughts and emotions. Vijay gets angrier, and when Sameera comes to talk to him, he cruelly rejects her. A few days later, Vijay is at a shop and sees on the news that Sameera tried to commit suicide and is critically wounded. He goes to the hospital, where her friend explains to him that Sameera's colleague takes advantage of Sameera, and when the colleague found out that Sameera loves Vijay, he began blackmailing and threatening her. One day he came home and when Sameera slapped him, he threw her out of the balcony. Vijay takes revenge for Sameera, and they reconcile.

Critical Reception

The Times of India rated 2.5/5 and says "The flashes of brilliance are overshadowed by a predictable storyline and by the time the climax is over, the only feeling you're left with is one of disappointment."[8] 123 Telugu rated 3.25/5 and says "a simple love story that has been showcased in an engaging manner. Beautiful emotions, sparkling chemistry between the lead pair are major assets. However, the classy narration and slow pace may not go well with a section of the audience."[9] The Hindu praised the performances and direction and says "Sammohanam works because its characters are vulnerable and human. Their flaws boost the character arcs."[10]
