Sambhaji Shahaji Bhosale
Sambhaji Shahaji Bhosle (1623–1658) was the elder son of Shahaji Raje Bhosale and Raj Matoshri Jijabai Rani Saheb. He was the elder brother of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. At the time of Sambhaji's birth, Shahaji was a general in the court of Nijamshah. Sambhaji was killed in an assault on Kanakgiri by Afzal Khan.[2]
