History

It was established in the year 1970 by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Bhagalpur,[1][2][3] under the aegis of the Franciscan Friars (Third Order Regular of St. Francis).[4] Saint Francis of Assisi is the patron of the school. The school is noted for high academic achievements in the region and has well-placed and eminent alumni working in the field of science, technology, business, and entertainment,[5] and public services. The school produced two consecutive state toppers in the ICSE Annual Exams in the year 2016 and 2017 in the state of Jharkhand.[6][7] The students perform very well in national competitive examinations : IIT-JEE,[8] medical entrance exams and civil services.

Campus

The school has two campuses : Primary wing and Senior wing, in proximity to each other; separated by a walking distance. The Primary wing has students from Nursery to class 5th. The Senior Wing is for students from classes 6th to 12th. It is located in the heart of the city in the locality of Castairs Town.

The school is equipped with a basketball court, games field, computer lab, a volleyball court, exhibition hall, and science labs.

The school also holds various programmes every year. These are Sports Day, Parents' Day, Exhibitions, etc.
