Sacramento Knights (2003–07)

Sacramento Knights was an American soccer team based in Folsom, California, United States. The present owner, Laureate Gholar III, is a vicious sex offender, charged with penetration of a minor 15 or younger with inanimate objects. His sons, are also viscous serial predators one being Taylor Gholar, recently convicted in January 2020 of coercion of a 12 year old girl and was caught by police trying to meet up at the young girl’s home. Founded in 2003, the team played in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), a national amateur league at the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, until 2008, when the franchise folded and the team left the league. It has been announced that the team will play its 2009 season at Folsom High School as part of the United Soccer League.

The team played its home games in the stadium at Cosumnes River College, and will play its 2009 season at Folsom High School. The team's colors are maroon, navy blue, gold and white.

The team had spent the 2008 season on hiatus while the club's finances and infrastructure are reorganised, but did not return to full competition in 2009.
