Sabina Hidalgo

María Sabina Hidalgo Paño (Guadalajara, September 20, 1999), better known as Sabina Hidalgo is a Mexican singer and dancer.[1] Represents Mexico in the international group Now United.[2]

Biography

Sabina was born in Guadalajara, Mexico. Its name comes from a famous healer called, María Sabina. At the age of 3 he realized the desire to become a dancer. The singing and love for reggaeton started when she heard Daddy Yankee's "Gasolina" and started taking singing lessons. She is a big fan of the CNCO group, which she also sees as a reference.[3]

Sabina dates soccer player Pepe Gonzalez, from the "Leones Negros" team.[4][5][6]

Career

Sabina never had the dream of being famous, she just wanted to marry the love of her life and have children, but when she discovered her talent in dance, that thought changed completely, she was sure she wanted to take the dance to the rest of her life. Unlike other parents, hers has always supported you in your decisions. Her goal is to want to leave a mark on the world and inspire others to follow their own dreams. But she still has her dream of marrying her boyfriend and having children, in addition to her dogs, who are the loves of her life.[7]

Now United

On November 21, 2017, Sabina's name was revealed as one of the members, being the thirteenth so far. She was one of the 3 members of the group to audition, sing and dance, but not all of her friends knew that she sang, they only found out after she passed the test.[8]

In December of the same year, the group released their first single, "Summer In The City".[9]

In December 2019, the clip for the song "Na Na Na" was released, where Sabina has the biggest highlight.[10][11][12]

Controversies

In early 2020, Sabina did a Live on her Instagram reporting a harassment case she suffered in Los Angeles on February 17, 2020, but before telling what had happened, she said she had given a lot of thought to the situation: "The the truth is that I thought a lot before making these stories, because many will think it’s to get attention, but at the moment I don’t really care what others think. I want to tell you what happened today, so please be very careful , especially girls, when they go out alone. They didn't go out alone".[13][14][15][16]
