Russell Sams
Russell Sams (born May 18, 1977) is an American film actor and director. Sams is perhaps best known for his small but impactful role as "Richard" in The Rules of Attraction as well as frequent appearances in various network television crime dramas.

Early life
Sams was born in Clinton, Tennessee in 1977. As an undergrad at the University of Tennessee, he developed an interest in acting, which began with an appearance in the Paul Rudnick play "Jeffrey". Sams studied theater for two years there before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film and television.[1]
