Roman Bodnar

Roman Mykolayovych Bodnar (Ukrainian: Роман Миколайович Боднар; born 1 February 1974[2]) is a Ukrainian civil servant and politician. He is the current Governor of Cherkasy Oblast.[3][4]

Biography

He studied at the Odessa Agricultural Institute (1991–1996).[2]

Bodnar is a mechanical engineer by profession.[2]

From 1997 to 1998, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.[2]

He headed the company Promtehproekt in Chernivtsi.[5]

From 2014 to 2019, Bodnar worked at the Security Service.[5]
