Roger Farmer
Roger Edward Alfred Farmer (born April 4, 1955) is a British/American economist. He is an Emeritus Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles,[2] and is currently a Professor at the University of Warwick[3] and Research Director at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research.[4] He known for his work on self-fulfilling prophecies. Farmer has published a number of scholarly articles in leading academic journals. Previously he has held positions at the University of Pennsylvania, the European University Institute and the University of Toronto.[5] His son is the economist Leland Edward Farmer, who is joining the faculty of the University of Virginia in July 2017.[6]
