Ricky Kirshner

Ricky Kirshner is an Emmy-winning television producer.

Kirshner has won nine Emmy Awards out of 24 nominations.[1]

Early life

Kirshner was born the son of media mogul Don Kirshner.[2]

Career

Kirshner partnered with Glenn Weiss to create White Cherry Entertainment.[3]

Kirshner has been involved in the Tony Awards since 1993, first acting as a line producer.[3] Since 2004, Kirshner has acted as an executive producer of the Tony Awards.[4]

Since the 2007 edition, Kirshner has acted as a producer of Super Bowl halftime shows.[3]

Kirshner, along with Glenn Weiss, was co-executive producer of the 38th annual Kennedy Center Honors in 2015.[5]

Kirshner has been involved with all Democratic National Conventions since 1992.[4] Kirshner acted as an executive producer for the 2008 and 2012 conventions, and a co-producer for the 2016 convention (alongside Vicangelo Bulluck).[6] Kirshner will oversee the programming of the 2020 Democratic National Convention.[7]
