Rica, Famosa, Latina (Rich, Famous, Latina)[1] is an Estrella TV reality series[2] which was co-created by Lenard Liberman of Estrella TV, and by Joyce Giraud.[3] The Spanish-language show[4] was inspired by the Real Housewives franchise.[4][4]

Rica, Famosa, Latina premiered on September 16, 2014, and followed five financially successful Latina women in Los Angeles. Castmembers in the first season included Estela Mora, Rosie Rivera, Adriana Gallardo, Victoria Del Rosal and Elisa Beristain,[3] the wife of Pepe Garza.[2]

The second season in 2015, which premiered on Estrella TV on Monday, March 30, 2015. Elisa Beristain, Estela Mora, Rosie Rivera and Victoria del Rosal returned, with four new women joining.[4] It has been reviewed in publications such as the Latin Times.[5] 37 new chapters were filmed for the third season, featuring Sissi Fleitas , Luzelba Mansour, and Sandra Vidal including newcomers Mayeli Rivera, Andrea Garcia and Niurka Marcos.[6]

There are now five seasons completed. Victoria Del Rosal was featured in the most episodes: 106. The next closest are Luzelba Mansour and Sandra Vidal with 72 episodes. The richest of the cast is Mexican businesswoman, reality star, investor and philanthropist Luzelba Mansour with a massive net worth estimated over 342 Million dollars, 2nd richest is Mexican business women and business icon Adriana Gallardo who owns her own insurance company in California with a estimated net worth of 247 Million Dollars. In season 4 while they were filming in Kona Hawaii Mayeli Alonso formerly Rivera nearly knocked out Sábado Gigante star Sissi Fleitas while having a brunch by the beach, after Sissi reportedly slaped Rivera across the face. Mayeli then got up and punched her in the face but not before Sissi bit her.[7]
