Rhododendron floribundum

Rhododendron floribundum (繁花杜鹃) is a rhododendron species native to northwestern Guizhou, southwestern Sichuan, and northeastern Yunnan in China, where it grows at altitudes of 1400–2700 meters. It is a shrub or small tree that grows to 2–10 meters in height, with leathery leaves that are elliptic-lanceolate or oblanceolate, and 8–13 × 1.8–3.8 cm in size. Flowers are magenta-rose with crimson flecks and blotch at base.
