Formerly known as Évian Thonon Gaillard Football Club, the club is the former professional football entity in the Greater Geneva area [8]. The club started fresh in 2017, with a new name: Thonon Evian Grand Geneve FC, asserting its ambition with the arrival of Strive Football Group, initiating the clubs fusion, to fulfill its vision of a large football project in the region: Grand Genève Football.
