Rampersad Parasram

H.H. Dharmacharya Pt. Dr. Rampersad Parasram (pronounced [rɑːməprəsɑːd̪ə pərəsərɑːmə]; born 27 May 1944) is the current Dharmacharya of Trinidad and Tobago and is a religious leader, medical doctor, and politician in Trinidad and Tobago.[4][5]

Personal life

Parasram's nephew, Roshan Parasram, is the current Chief Medical Officer for Trinidad and Tobago since 2013/14 and has additionally taken a lead role in the Trinidad and Tobago Government's response to the COVID-19 pandemic in Trinidad and Tobago.[6][7]
