Background

Nosaby Idrottsförening was formed in 1956 and has undergone a remarkable transformation over the past 20 years with the football first team progressing from Division 7 to the higher reaches of Division 3. The club now has more than 500 members of which over 300 are young people who participate in the club's 15 youth teams.[2]

Since their foundation Nosaby IF has participated mainly in the middle and lower divisions of the Swedish football league system. The club currently plays in Division 3 Södra Götaland which is the fifth tier of Swedish football.[3] They play their home matches at the Nya Vallbjörka in Kristianstad.[4]

Nosaby IF are affiliated to Skånes Fotbollförbund.[5]
