State Route 578 begins at the Interstate 15 (I-15) and U.S. Route 93 (US 93) interchange with Washington Avenue, D Street and City Parkway (exits 43 and 44). From there, it follows Washington Avenue eastward, traveling under the Union Pacific Railroad tracks to intersect Main Street.
