Nathan Wendt

Nathan Wendt (born October 4, 1980) is an American businessman and entrepreneur from Wyoming. He is seeking the Democratic Party nomination for the 2020 United States Senate election in Wyoming[1], which will fill the seat left vacant by incumbent Republican Mike Enzi who is not running for reelection. Wendt has served as Vice President of the Jackson Hole Center for Global Affairs since 2016.[2]

Wendt was born in Leesburg, Virginia. He received a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Colorado at Boulder in Boulder, Colorado, and an MBA from Baruch College (CUNY).

Wendt is based in Jackson, Wyoming. He is married with a daughter and an infant son to be born in early August 2020.[3]

Politics

Wendt is one of six major candidates running for the Democratic nomination for the United States Senate in Wyoming. His campaign focuses on "5 Ideas for Wyoming to Thrive",[4] which include rebuilding and diversifying Wyoming's economy, cutting healthcare costs, reducing the deficit, increasing worker pay, and leading in clean energy.
