Company Profile
The National Agricultural Development Company (NADEC) is one of the largest foods and agricultural companies in the Middle East and North Africa. The company’s activities range from dairy, to juices, various foods like olive oil, potatoes, corn and others, all contributing to feeding consumers on a daily basis.
The company also owns one of the largest integrated dairy farms in the world at the Nadec project in Haradh, Saudi Arabia, for more than 200 products and more than 40,000 outlets.
Company History
The National Agricultural Development Company (NADEC) was established by a royal decree by King Faisal bin Abdul Aziz (may Allah have mercy on him) as the first agricultural joint stock company in Saudi Arabia in the early 1980s to be introduced in the Saudi stock market, with the aim of supporting the agriculture and nutrition sector and enhancing food security.

Geographical Spread
In order to reach the highest quality food products to customers, Nadec is keen on its geographical expansion, which achieves more effective access to the products, in addition to employing the nature of its geographical locations to serve its production lines.

Nadec’s City in Haradh
One of the company's most important production sites, an integrated production city, 250 kilometers from the capital Riyadh, and includes: • Cattle farms • Dairy factories • Agricultural fields • Nadec Innovation Center • Central laboratory • Residential city
The cultivated area extends to more than 7,400 hectares. Potatoes, palms and fodder are grown. Nadec City is also home to 125,000 square meters of accommodation for the company's employees.
Nadec Innovation Center
Achieving tangible product development goes through many research and studies on the development of innovative agricultural and industrial methods. At the Innovation Center, various innovations are employed in operational processes after testing and applying the highest industry standards. Through the integration of the research process and its applications and the development of various technologies Nadec produces more high-quality products.
Hail Project
Hail project is located 580 kilometers from the city of Riyadh. Hail includes one of the largest seed treatment centers in the Kingdom. In addition to a plant for fattening calves.
Al Jouf Project
Al-Jouf project is located 1250 km from the city of Riyadh, the cultivated area is 4000 hectares. Nadec is proud to have one of the largest organic olive projects in the world, which contains more than 4 million organic olive trees, to produce Nadec organic olive oil, which has won the consumer confidence, and is among the highest quality in the world, which has won many international awards.
Wadi Al Dawasir Project
Wadi Al-Dawasir project is located 600 kilometers from the city of Riyadh. The cultivated area is 4000 hectares where potatoes, onions and fodder are grown.

Nadec Sustainable Energy Program
As Nadec is witnessing increased economic growth, domestic demand for energy and water is accelerating and is expected to continue to grow at high rates.
Nadec contributes to the sustainable development of the Kingdom by utilizing science, research and industries related to renewable energy, and diversifying its energy resources in a way that contributes to raising living standards and quality of life in the Kingdom. Nadec aspires to achieve its goals as the driving force for the production of dairy, milk and dairy products, and by adopting the principle of renewable energy as an essential part of the national and sustainable energy mix.
Solar Power Project
One of the most important alternative energy projects is the solar energy project which is bound to reduce 53 million kilograms of carbon emissions annually. The project includes the installation of 30 thousand kilowatts of solar energy which ensures the integration of the existing energy systems in the project and the renewable energy system to reduce the company's operating costs, which will contribute to reducing the company's energy consumption in Haradh’s project by approximately 30% of the operating costs of power consumption.
