N.K.V.D. is a French industrial black metal project, formed in 2005.[1]

Biography

N.K.V.D. recorded in 2005 the demo "Vrajda", never released.

In 2007, they recorded the EP "Diktatura", released by French black metal label "Those Opposed Records", Portuguese label "Mistress Dance Records" released a cassette version, and French label "Flamme Noire" a vinyl version. Eric Syre from the band "Thesyre" sang on the song "Incipit SSSR".

In 2011, N.K.V.D. recorded their first album called "Vlast", again by Those Opposed Records.

In 2014, the label Avantgarde Music released N.K.V.D. 's new album called "Hakmarrja" .[2]

In 2016, Krucyator Productions released N.K.V.D.'s compilation, called "Totalitarian Industrial Oppression", reuniting both sold out records Diktatura and Vlast, with a remastered version of "Vlast".[3]

N.K.V.D.'s music is based on history, power and dictatorship.

An extract of the song "Hakmarrja", appears in the movie Blair Witch (film)

The band shares member with Autokrator.
