Moukdavanyh Santiphone

Moukdavanyh Santiphone (Lao: ມຸກດາວັນ ສັນຕິພອນ, Thai: มุกดาวัน สันติพอน; born 6 June 1997) is a prominent Laotian singer.[1] She is one of the most popular and prolific of the artists in the Mor lam and Luk thung genres from Laos. She became popular in 2013 by singles including Mon Hak Bao Mueng Wang and Earn Ai Sai Mor Nueng from studio album Mon Hak Bao Mueng Wang, and she has popularised in Laos, Thailand and the southeast Asian countries.

Early life

She was born in Savannakhet, Savannakhet Province, Laos in 6 June 1997, from farmers family.[2]

She was taught song and dance by her father and Dokphet Danchamphone, her teacher. She was started to sing in contests at 5 years. She was a singer of Ars and Culture of Savannakhet band.

Career

When she was attending primary 3, she recorded her first studio album Wai Bor Phor on label Lao Der Music, next when she was in secondary 2, she was recorded the studio album Bao Tha Kaek Sao Sawan.

She was very popular since 2013, when she recorded her studio album Mon Hak Bao Mueng Wang (ມົນຮັກບ່າວເມືອງວັງ)[3][4], have promoted singles from this album includes Mon Hak Bao Mueng Wang (ມົນຮັກບ່າວເມືອງວັງ), Earn Ai Sai Mor Nueng (ເອິ້ນອ້າຍໃສ່ຫມໍ້ຫນຶ່ງ)[5], Sieng Khaen Thean Jai (ສຽງແຄນແທນໃຈ), resulting her has very popular in Laos, Thailand and other countries in Southeast Asia.[6]
