The reasons for this apostasy included considering imams as not infallible, ridiculing the Mahdism, promoting incarnation theory and touching female patient’s hand while undergoing treatment.[7]Taheri's lowers and students have had many activities for his freedom, as well as objecting the referendums which led to withdraw of scholars, [9]and the sentence has been changed to five years imprisoning and a 900 million Toman fine.[7]
