Milan B. Popović

Milan B. Popović (Serbian Cyrillic: Милан Б. Поповић; born 1976 in Belgrade) is Serbian poet and journalist.

Poetry

Popović is the author of four books of poems: Molitva tetoviranog srca (2006), Vreme brutalnih dobronamernika (Time of Brutal Well-Intentioned People, 2006), Oka da ne ispustim dah (2007), and Na kori integralnog hleba i olovci (2011)

Journalism

As a journalist, he writes for daily newspapers Blic (Serbia), Dan (Montenegro), Fokus (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Pravda (Serbia), as well as for magazines Rocks, Novi magazin, Nocturne, Time Out, Kontra, Sound metal, Bestseler, XZ, Butcherian vibe, Sound & Music, Hard & Heavy, Ispred dragstora, Kvartal, Književni magazin, Književne novine, Gradina, Pressing, Naše Novine, Novine beogradskog čitališta As a journalist, he writes for daily newspapers Blic (Serbia), Dan (Montenegro), Fokus (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Pravda (Serbia), as well as for magazines Rocks, Novi magazin, Nocturne, Time Out, Kontra, Sound metal, Bestseler, XZ, Butcherian vibe, Sound & Music, Hard & Heavy, Ispred dragstora, Kvartal, Književni magazin, Književne novine, Gradina, Pressing, Naše Novine, Novine beogradskog čitališta and others.

In 2010, seventeen Serbian (mostly metal) bands recorded the songs on the lyrics written by Popović, releasing them on the compilation album Vreme brutalnih dobronamernika.[1]

In 2015 he recorded the double compilation album Hronično Neumorni with reggae, hip-hop and rock artists from the former Yugoslavia. Bands recorded the songs on the lyrics written by Popović.[2]

Popović lives and works in Belgrade.
