Miglena Selishka

Miglena Selishka (born 13 February 1996) is a Bulgarian freestyle wrestler. At the 2020 European Wrestling Championships held in Rome, Italy she won the gold medal in the women's 50 kg event.[1][2] A year earlier she won the silver medal in that event at the 2019 European Wrestling Championships held in Bucharest, Romania.[3]

Career

In 2017, she won one of the bronze medals in the 48 kg event at the Golden Grand Prix Ivan Yarygin 2017 held in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. In 2017, she also competed in the 48 kg event at the 2017 European Wrestling Championships in Novi Sad, Serbia where she was eliminated in her first match by Milana Dadasheva. Later that year, she competed in the 48 kg event at the 2017 World Wrestling Championships without winning a medal.

In 2019, she represented Bulgaria at the 2019 World Beach Games in Doha, Qatar and she won the bronze medal in the women's 50 kg event.[4]
