May Bumps 1963

The May Bumps 1963 were a set of rowing races held at Cambridge University in June 1963. The event was run as a bumps race and is one of a series of May Bumps which have been held annually in mid-June since 1887. 129 boats competed in 8 men's divisions. The women's competition commenced in 1974. See May Bumps for the format of the races. These were the only set of bumps races held at Cambridge University in 1963 as the Lent Bumps of 1963 were cancelled due to the river being frozen.
