Mary Leng

Mary Leng is a British philosopher specialising in the philosophy of mathematics and philosophy of science. She is a senior lecturer the University of York, where she has been based since 2012. Before this, she worked at the University of Liverpool (2006-11) and the University of Cambridge (2002-06). She studied as an undergraduate at Balliol College, University of Oxford and as postgraduate student at the University of Toronto.[1] In 2010, she published a monograph called Mathematics and Reality with Oxford University Press. In the book, she defends mathematical fictionalism.[2]
