Life and career

Born in Liverpool, Lev started acting at the age of 16, playing David Bowen in the NBC made-for-TV film The Day After Tomorrow (1975) and Dandy Dan in the Alan Parker musical film Bugsy Malone (1976).[1] He then left acting and worked as a designer.

Lev was a founder and former director of Action for ME,[2] a self-help group for sufferers, as he was, of myalgic encephalomyelitis. He committed suicide on 11 March 1992 in Ealing, London at the age of 32.[3]
