Marcelo Carrión (born 10 May 1956) is a Dominican chess FIDE Master (FM) (2009), Chess Olympiad individual gold medal winner (1976).

Biography

In 1986, Marcelo Carrión won Columbia District Chess Championship.[1] He is multiple participant of Dominican Chess Championships. In 2001, Marcelo Carrión shared 1st - 4th place in Dominican Chess Championship, but ranked 3rd for additional scores.[2] In 2001, he ranked third in Santo Domingo International Chess Tournament.[3]
