Long-tailed woodnymph

The long-tailed woodnymph (Thalurania watertonii) is a species of hummingbird in the family Trochilidae. It is found in humid forest in northeastern Brazil. Its population of 1'000-2'500 individuals is currently in decline most likely due to deforestation and loss of habitat. [2]
